About Har Ki Doon
Har Ki Doon is a stunning cradle-shaped valley nestled in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary of Uttarakhand. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks, alpine meadows, pine forests, and ancient Himalayan villages, the trek offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, mythology, and local culture. The valley is believed to be associated with the Mahabharata era and remains one of the most scenic trekking routes in the Garhwal Himalayas.

Har Ki Doon Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Osla Village to Seema
- Altitude: 2,560 meters
- Trek Distance: 5 km
- Trek Duration: 3–4 hours
The trek begins from the traditional Himalayan village of Osla, known for its unique wooden architecture and rich mountain culture. The trail gradually follows the Supin River through dense forests, wooden bridges, and scenic valley landscapes. Reach the peaceful campsite at Seema surrounded by pine forests and river streams. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 2: Seema to Har Ki Doon Valley

- Trek Duration: 6–7 hours
Today’s trail gradually ascends through lush forests, alpine meadows, and glacier-fed streams toward the beautiful Har Ki Doon valley. Along the route, enjoy magnificent views of Swargarohini, Hata Peak, and Black Peak. Reach the expansive Har Ki Doon valley by evening and camp amidst breathtaking Himalayan scenery.
Day 3: Explore Har Ki Doon Valley and return to Seema

- Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
Spend the morning exploring the valley, nearby ridgelines, meadows, and river streams. The valley offers incredible panoramic views and a peaceful Himalayan atmosphere ideal for photography and nature walks. After exploration, descend gradually back toward Seema campsite for overnight stay.
Day 4: Seema to Osla Village
- Trek Distance: 5 km
- Trek Duration: 3–4 hours
After breakfast, descend through forest trails and river crossings back toward Osla village. Enjoy the final views of the Himalayan valley and traditional mountain settlements before concluding the trek.
