Dayara Bugyal Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Barsu to Barnala Tal
- Altitude: 2,900 meters
- Trek Distance: 4 km
- Trek Duration: 3–4 hours
The trek begins from the peaceful village of Barsu. The trail gradually ascends through dense oak and rhododendron forests toward the beautiful high-altitude lake of Barnala Tal. Overnight stay at campsite.
Day 2: Barnala Tal to Dayara Bugyal
- Altitude: 3,658 meters
- Trek Distance: 5 km
- Trek Duration: 4–5 hours
Continue ascending through forests before emerging into the vast alpine meadows of Dayara Bugyal. Enjoy panoramic views of Himalayan peaks and rolling grasslands stretching across the landscape. Overnight camping amidst the meadows.
Day 3: Explore Dayara Bugyal
- Altitude: 3,658 meters
- Trek Duration: Leisure day
Spend the day exploring the meadows and nearby ridgelines. Witness breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over Bandarpoonch and surrounding Himalayan peaks. Enjoy photography and nature walks around the bugyal.
Day 4: Dayara Bugyal to Barsu
- Trek Distance: 9 km
- Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
Descend gradually through forests and mountain trails back to Barsu village, concluding the trek.
