Day 1 – Arrival at Rishikesh → Drive to Gangotri
Altitude: 3,100 m
- Pickup from Rishikesh / Dehradun.
- Scenic drive via Uttarkashi to Gangotri.
- Check-in at guesthouse / camp.
- Evening acclimatization walk and briefing.
- Equipment check and expedition orientation.
Overnight: Guesthouse / Camp at Gangotri.
Day 2 – Gangotri → Nala Camp Trek
Altitude: 3,800 m
Trek Distance: 6 km | 5–6 hrs
- Start trek along the Rudugaira valley.
- Gradual ascent through alpine terrain.
- Cross streams and moraines.
- Reach Nala Camp near Rudugaira glacier.
- Rest and acclimatization.
Overnight: Tents at Nala Camp.
Day 3 – Nala Camp → Rudugaira Base Camp
Altitude: 4,150 m
Trek Distance: 4 km | 4–5 hrs
- Trek on moraine and glacier sections.
- Rope-up practice and safety briefing.
- Enter Rudugaira glacier zone.
- Reach Base Camp with views of Jogin peaks.
- Technical training session (ice axe, crampons).
Overnight: Tents at Base Camp.
Day 4 – Acclimatization & Training Day
Altitude: 4,150 m
- Acclimatization hike towards higher ridges.
- Snow craft training:
- Rope travel
- Ice axe arrest
- Crampon walking
- Crevasse rescue basics
- Equipment recheck and expedition planning.
Overnight: Tents at Base Camp.
Day 5 – Base Camp → Auden’s Col Camp (High Camp)
Altitude: 4,700 m
Trek Distance: 3 km | 5–6 hrs
- Early start across Rudugaira glacier.
- Technical ascent over snowfields and ice walls.
- Fixed ropes used where required.
- Reach Auden’s Col High Camp below the pass.
- Rest, hydration, and early dinner.
Overnight: Tents at High Camp.
Day 6 – Cross Auden’s Col → Khatling Glacier Camp
Altitude: 5,490 m (Pass) → 4,600 m
Trek Distance: 6 km | 8–9 hrs
- Summit day of the expedition.
- Pre-dawn start.
- Steep snow climb to Auden’s Col Pass.
- Enjoy panoramic views of Gangotri & Kedarnath ranges.
- Technical descent using ropes into Khatling Glacier.
- Walk across massive glacier to camp.
Overnight: Tents on Khatling Glacier.
Day 7 – Khatling Glacier → Chowki Camp
Altitude: 3,800 m
Trek Distance: 7 km | 6–7 hrs
- Descend through glacier and rocky terrain.
- Cross moraines and alpine meadows.
- Gradual transition to greener valleys.
- Reach Chowki Camp.
Overnight: Tents at Chowki.
Day 8 – Chowki → Masar Tal
Altitude: 4,150 m
Trek Distance: 5 km | 4–5 hrs
- Steady ascent to the beautiful Masar Tal Lake.
- Surrounded by towering Himalayan walls.
- Leisure walk and photography.
- Relaxation after technical section completion.
Overnight: Tents near Masar Tal.
Day 9 – Masar Tal → Vasuki Tal → Kedarnath
Altitude: 4,135 m → 3,583 m
Trek Distance: 8 km | 7–8 hrs
- Trek via Vasuki Tal, a sacred alpine lake.
- Descend towards Kedarnath valley.
- Reach Kedarnath Temple area.
- Celebration evening.
Overnight: Guesthouse / Lodge at Kedarnath.
Day 10 – Kedarnath → Rishikesh / Dehradun (Drive Back)
- Morning temple visit (optional).
- Trek / transfer to Gaurikund.
- Drive back to Rishikesh / Dehradun.
- Tour concludes with memories of a lifetime.
